I think the 9let is over only one beat, correct? In that case, you'd have to put 9 16ths in place of 4 16ths, not in place of 6 16ths. I did everything you told me to do but I still have a 16th rest followed by an 8th note rest. Hope this helps! If you need to, I can make pictures to help you out. You might have to edit the time signature to fit the initial notes in, but once you fit them in correctly with the "Tuplet Tool" you should be able to change the time signature back to how it was. Then click on the "Tuplet Tool" and make it so that is says 9 16ths in the space of 6 16ths. I would insert a dotted 8th note followed by 6 16th notes.

That will solve a lot of your problems, but some of it is just Finale not having great percussion playback.įor writing the ninelet, here's how I would do it. I want to put this part to be move over 1 beat so that it's in 4/4. The part I want to transcribe has a 9let in it but its not comming out right when i right. not that big of a deal.Now for my second question I want to transcribe a couple measures from Billy goats Milk and I want it in 4/4. Is there anything I can do about that? And no I dont have VDL. The finale of the few moments waking me to another day was a familiar face I deal with at the recovery clinic. Everything just doesnt line up soundwise. stagnated entities of what should be help. I'm using Finale 2008 and when I play back what I wrote it comes out really crappy.
